WHO WE ARE

St. John’s Pride’s purpose is to provide advocacy through education and visibility events, products, and resources.
We also organize and oversee an annual Festival along with year-round events, all aimed at celebrating and highlighting the rich diversity within our communities in and around St. John's.

Pride is rooted in protest - against oppression, erasure, discrimination, violence, and inequality. We ensure our Pride Festival is centered around protest for the right to exist for all people in all places.
Gathering as a community creates safer spaces for us all. The Pride Festival provides a platform to come together and find protection with each other.
Pride is a celebration of how much we have achieved and the joy of being truly ourselves.
